Shruti Haasan’s next sees her share screen space with Mithun Chakraborty, Arjan Bajwa, Gauahar Khan, Satyajeet Dubey and Sonalee Kulkarni. The psychological thriller Bestseller is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Haasan says, “It is a fantastic script. It’s a thriller that is fast-paced. Even if I wasn’t in the show, I would love to watch it. It is wonderful to headline a show, especially one in which the character is so unique.”

Having wanted to enter the web space with a female-led project, she is delighted “to be in the company of a stalwart like Mithun Chakraborty”. Working on the web platform, she says, is no different than working in cinema. “During filming, it feels like the process is the same. But the amount of time, and layers that you get to explore and delve into due to the long format is exciting.”
Bestseller is a nail-biting, new-age suspense thriller that airs on February 18.
