The trailer gave a sneak peek into a young married couple's fun, sweet and confusing journey of having a baby! The cast is made up of the popular actors Abhijit Amkar of ‘Takatak’ and ‘Hridayi Vasant Phultana’ fame and Pratiksha Mungekar known for her roles in ‘Babo’, ‘Baashth’ and  ‘Veeda: Ek Sangharsh’.  Joining them are actors Vijay Vid Mishra, Sanjay Kulkarni, Sanjivani Patil and Beena Rajadhyaksha stepping into the shoes of other amusing characters from the series. The series has been written and directed by Sagar Kesarkar. Commenting on the new launch, national award winner Akshay Bardapurkar, Producer and Founder, Planet Marathi OTT said “We have seen huge success giving differentiated content right from politics, crime, thriller and satire. This new series is an addition to our list of family entertainers and explores the crazy side of new parenthood and family ties. ‘Baby On Board’ is a slice of life drama sure to make a place in audience hearts” 

Actor Abhijit Amkar shared “Real-life characters look simple but are complex to play because you have to be able to relate to the audience. It was a fun learning experience working with the cast and crew” Adding to this actress Pratiksha Mungekar said “Every family is different, but there are some universal emotions which connect all of us. This series is super special to me as I got a chance to put myself in the shoes of a unique character” Writer-Director Sagar Kesarkar commented “The show’s storyline is relatable and you are sure to have met some of these characters in your real life. Having a baby is one of the most challenging and memorable times not only for the parents but for the entire family. We have captured the many shades of love, adjustments and madness which audiences will be able to relate to”.

The series has been produced by Sainath Rajadhyaksha and Beena Rajadhyaksha and backed by production house Filmy Owl Studios. Planet Marathi OTT, a Vistas Media Capital Company announces the release date for the series to be 28th October 2022.
