After starting his career in 1974 with Shyam Benegal’s Ankur, veteran actor Dalip Tahil never looked back. He dabbled in films, television and theatre. Not afraid to reinvent himself with time, he made his web debut with Parchhayee and then was seen in Amazon Prime Video’s The Family Man franchise and Made in Heaven. “I feel this space has opened up new horizons. OTT is a boon for many actors. This space allows [me to play] character-rich roles,” says Tahil, who was recently seen in the third edition of Inside Edge.

The actor has been receiving praise for his portrayal of Judge Roy in the 10-episode series. Enjoying the new-found love from fans, he says, “Inside Edge is a well-crafted show. It is a role I have never played before. As an actor, [when you get] the time to develop a character and explore the back story, it enhances the performance. And when audience appreciates your work, it’s a great feeling.”
