In the new promo released by the makers of Bigg Boss 17, Bigg Boss was seen asking the house captain Ankita Lokhande, "Aap bataiye, Abhishek ne jo galti ki hain... uski kya saza honi chahiye (After the mistake that Abhishek has done, what should be his punishment)?" To which Abhishek pleased with Ankita to let him stay. Ankita, looking quite solemn, responds, "Bigg Boss, Abhishek ko ye ghar chod kar jaana chahiye (Bigg Boss, Abhishek should leave the house)."

After this, Abhishek Kumar is seen requesting Bigg Boss that he does not want to bid goodbye to the game. Bigg Boss stated that the decision remains final and that his journey on the show has come to an end. Mannara Chopra and Ayesha Khan were seen tearing up as they bid their farewell to Abhishek. While other housemates like Vicky Jain wished him luck with a hug.

Abhishek Kumar's father pleads his son's case

Abhishek Kumar's father took to social media to issue a statement for his son. Abhishek Kumar's father said that everyone is on the show (Bigg Boss 17) to win, and they all poke and prod at each other, but Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel provoking his son was not okay.

“The way Isha and Samarth have been provoking Abhishek, no one else has done it that way. They mocked his mental health issues and spoke about his father,” he said, saying that this was “not right."
