Ajay, Nandish and Mrunal Jain owned the team together until last year, but Ajay opted out to form his own this year. Talking about her decision, Rashami says, “I have many friends who I would love to support in this team. It's a late entry because I was contemplating whether I should join the show as I don't know how to play cricket, but my team has promised to train me."

Ajay Chaudhary says, "Rashami Desai is a family friend. She's been a great co-star in 'Uttaran' and I am grateful to her for being part of Lucknow Nawabs in BCL season 2. According to me there is no one better than Rashami Desai to be the face of the team. Her positivity shows in her conduct".
