Amanda Seyfried garnered Lead Actress in a Limited Series for her portrayal of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in The Dropout, and fan-favourite The White Lotus actor Jennifer Coolidge won for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series.

Many firsts

. Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae became the first Asian actor to win Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and the fourth Asian person to win an acting Emmy.

. Euphoria star Zendaya became the first Black woman to win Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and the youngest two-time winner of any Emmy in history.

. Lizzo accepted the award for Outstanding Competition Program for Watch Out for the Big Grrrls. With her first Emmy Award, the three-time Grammy winner takes a step closer to becoming an EGOT winner (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards winner).

. Sheryl Lee Ralph is only the second Black woman to win in the category of Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Abbott Elementary), at the Emmys.
