Kelly-Brit slug it out

Kelly Clarkson'su00a0 new single My Life Would Suck Without You has catapulted from the #97 position it held last week to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This effectively breaks the previous record that was held by Britney Spears.

Her track Womanizer had gone from #96 to #1 in a week's time.

Now that's some record to break... wonder who's gonna be next!

But the better question is how long will they last at the top spot?
