"Karan, just because you have worn a velvet coat today doesn't mean you are an actor," the 'Baby' star quipped at the trailer launch of 'Brothers' in Mumbai.

A visibly embarrassed Karan replied: "Why are you throwing salt on someone's wounds?"

Akshay joked: "I was mum all this while, but you provoked me to say this."
